Since June 9th '09

Update of status: As reposted from Facebook 9/26/09

I haven't written a new blog since June 9th apparently. It's August 22nd. I think the reason I don't write more blogs is because I don't know what to write about. I update people on my status and what I'm up to via the "Update" box. OMG. Someone just sent me a message in my Inbox. I can tell because looking at it I see a random number 1. Since I don;t know anyone by the name 1, I'm going to assume it means I have one new message. There's an exciting update for you.

Current Concerns: Going to Santa Cruz beach today. Hippies. There will be Hippies. I'm also concerned about buying a USB with enouhg memory to hold almost all of my photos from this laptop and my home computer. Stupid photos are taking up way too much memory. I blame deviantart.com. You can't go to deviantart and not download at least ten photos and images from it. My computer's memory loss may also be blamed on the 10GB of songs Rhapsody is currently holding. Ooops. I refuse to delete them though. I will try to get them onto a USB though. That way if my computer randomly explodes into bits because the CIA accidentally mistakes it for a Russian spy's, I will have the music files safe and secure.

In Other News: I'm seeing Jason Mraz in concert August 28th and Sheryl Crow in concert September 2nd. Be jealous.

In The Other Other News: My texting still sucks. My textability is at its maximum and it still takes me 2 minutes to send a two sentence text. Why does "Yah that sounds great. C u then" take me forever??? It's official. Cell phones are evil. Satan put them on this earth to mess with us. And then he got bored and added texting.

Well, I don't know what else to blog about. At this point I've blogged about everything, including blogging. Hasta.

Update of status added as of 9/26/09 : Kari's father passed away. We had to go to the funeral. It was a saddening time, even though I didn't know him that well. It was great to see Kari's family and everyone come together. I was a beautiful service. I don't know much about Kari's dad, but from what I can tell from the few times I taed to him he was a great guy who was always willing to help pthers and had a good sense of humor. And he was greatly loved and appreciated by those close to him.

I'm officially back in school. Summer was getting little redundant and boring. Now I've got more work than I know what to do with. At least I know my art will flourish in these coming months what with the ceramics class and 2 computer art classes. Spanish sucks. I'm only taking it to fufill my requirement of attending 4 classes each quarter. Thank God I know the language well, because if I didn't I would not have to the time to give it the appropriate amount of attention needed. I love the language and the culte, but I hate the class.

Busyness

Life kind of sucks right now. 9/26/09. Shool has started. Senior year of college. Future impending. I have to give a presentation on Charle Babbage next Thursday, make a character on illustrator next Monday, work on clay peice next Tuesday a quiz Thursday and Friday, multiple projects coming to head in the next 2 to 3 weeks. The only person I feel more sorry for right now is Charles Babbage. I got his name for the presentation and I was like, "who is this?". I asked Kari, my step-mom who works at Cisco, if she knew who he was after I found out and she said "no". Turns out Charles Babbage is the forefather of the computer. He invented a machine that was the basic foundation for the computer people would create years later. Wikipedia told me he invented his machine in 18-something (the 19th century - it was a brief trip to wiki-land). Then Charles wife died and he fell into a depression and didn't really finish his machine. I think it's kind of sad that we live in he Silicon Valley and no one knows Charles Babbage - The George Washington of the computer world. Not to mention the fact that we use computers almost everyday in some form or another - like now. We owe a lot to this man and few people even know of his existence. Yet we all know who Marie Antoinette was. Injustice.
