VeintiTres

Yah I'm the big 23 today. Woot! Now for the important stuff: Ghost encounter in Oakdale.

Friday night: Woke up at 3:45. The room temperature went down at around 4:10. I felt pretty chilly, but continued to face away from the doorway and try to ignore it. Then some papers fell either off the computer desk or the printer, although in the morning I found nothing on the floor. I ignored and let my mind wander other places instead of worrying. Then I heard a strange sound. It wasn't a growl, but it sounded like a strange sort of screech. About 3 mintues later the temperature went back to normal.

Saturday Night: Ghost stayed for about an hour on and off. The temperature kept going down then returning to normal. Started feeling disoriented, but just tried to ignore. Heard someone move around outside the doorway to my room, but it didn't walk anywhere even though I was expecting to hear footsteps after the sound. Made a slight sund with the door to the room. Disorientation came and went. Had moments of fear/anxiety/alert feelings that something was in the room. Refused to turn around and face doorway. Someone sat on the sheets at the corner of my bed. Moved my foot over to it, but the sheets did not lift up easily like they normally do. There was something weighing them down - felt like someone was sitting on them. It was weird.

New Appartment

Well it's in a nice neighborhood. There's a park-sort of feelingto it. They allow pets, which only has the negative of random skeakerdogs going off and barking every once in a while. Lots of kids here since there's an elementary school across the street - negative = lots of kids yelling and running around; plus = safe neighborhood with neighbors that are trustworthy. Not having internet for a couple days sucked, but everything's working now obviously. New apartment is running fine - PG+E is in order, hot water works, heating system works . . . It's interesting how much art stuff I have. This place really seems like it belongs to someone who is a hardcore artist. Kitchen is full of stuff as is bedroom. Living room still vacant although mom is coming tomorrow with a table and some chairs. All in all pretty good considering I only had a weeks notice to move out. I make Legolas card-board cut out stand in front of the door to ward off intruders. I feel pretty safe here. All is wells. :)

oakdale and ghost

Wellz went to Oakdale last weekend. Stupid ghost. night one I am planning to sleep in the guest bedroom with a Bible by my side, Emily comes in as I'm about to go to sleep and tells meshe heard the ghost speak. She was in her room trying to close her door, when she turned to face her room she heard someone whisper in her ear "Ra..." She didn't know if it said run or Ron or what, but it started with an R. No one was around her. So when she told me that I decided: screw it I'm sleeping in her room.

I slept on my sisters floor the first night and nothing happened. The next night was a little more complicated because our friend Chelsie came over and my sister and her wouldn't stop talking about stupid boys they've dated and clothes they want. They date a lot. It's crazy.

Anyways, seriously pissed at how the ghost has monopolized my life like this.

Well I'm back in Oakdale. We had a party for my step-bro Trevbecause he's moving to Oregon. And now I've made it to my mom's house out in the country to visit with my friends and see my GrandpaBud who has come down for the weekend.

As for the ghost situation- As suggested, I brought a Bible and will hopefully experience nothing over the weekend.

Over the past couple of weeks since my last visit here I have had a few brief moments where I felt like there may be a ghost in my room. Nothing conclusive though. Hard to tell paranoia from actual occurences, although I definitely felt strongly a couple times that there was something there. I decided the strange feeling I occasionally have of disorientation has been persistent enough to argue that it may just be from Zoloft. Despite that, the feeling I get during the disorientation differs - sometimes I feel like it's nothing but the disorientation and other times I feel the sense of loosing myself and feel afraid something else might be happening.
