I almost ran over 2 people today. Not my fault. It was 6 A.M., miles before the dawn was coming up, and I turn corner in my car and my headlights fall on 2 idiots in the next lane walking in the street in dark close. I turn corner again, go down a hill, and then see 2 women walking with a flashlights strapped to their heads and a glow vest so they can be seen clearly by vehicles. People. Why do they have to be such extremists sometimes? Some people are over weight -some people are annorexics. Some people are overtly opinionated -others don't care to have one. But most of us find ourselves in the happy medium.

So I thought I'd spread my new wings today and try to fly. I was General Evaluator at the meeting today. Issues that ensued: Not knowing I was suppose to appoint and announce who was evaluating today's speeches. Then when I got up to the podium I had notes I needed to use so my thoughts were organized, but I ended up staring mostly at them -looking up occasionally. My voice didn't project as well as it should have. Dangs.

On the plus side of life, my nerves were gone. I didn't exactly speak as clearly and calmly as I could, but the nerves associated with standing in front of people were not present. I wasn't exactly soaring today, but I wasn't exactly falling into oblivion either.
